John O’Groats to Lands End Cycle Ride
Text Box: !!The First of our “Cyclethons” has been completed!! On Saturday 23rd Febuaruy we used one of the bikes we will be doing the main trip on, attached to a static trainer to ride for 5 hours. With 2 of us riding in half hour relays, we hit the 100 mile mark in 4 hours 45 mins and 7 seconds, with a total mileage of 106.3 after the 5 hours. We collected £106.61 at the centre and hope others will donate through the websites. A big Thank you to the staff and management at Whiteoaks Leisure Centre in Swanley who kindly provided the venue. Please click below for their website There will be at least one more Cyclethon before the main trip, probably at an M&S in the London area so keep checking for updates.
